Nayef Issa is a Washington, D.C.–based cultural entrepreneur who has been shaping the city’s music and event scene since 2014. Born in Beirut and raised in Northern Virginia, he grew up surrounded by his family’s entrepreneurial drive — a foundation that would later define his own approach to building culture.

After a brief stint in conventional roles, Nayef realized his path wasn’t corporate — it was creative. He founded Nü Androids, the D.C. collective that redefined the city’s nightlife by refusing to fit into a single genre, instead curating experiences that blur boundaries and spotlight emerging talent.

Issa’s ambition didn’t stop at nightlife. He pushes the experience beyond clubs into unconventional spaces — warehouses, pop-ups, and “blank canvases” — merging music, visuals, and immersive art.

With roughly 180 events a year and shows hosting anywhere from 500 to 2,500+ people, Issa has helped bring world-class talent to the D.C. market — artists who might otherwise skip the region.
